Lismore, in northern New South Wales, is located 45 km from Byron Bay and 100 km south of the Gold Coast. It is a town with valuable qualities… one of our high spending suburbs.

Using the Insight Data Co-operative we profiled Australian households, We analysed average spend with some interesting results.

The people of Lismore have the 3rd highest spend per household across the country behind those living in the metropolitan areas of Melbourne and Sydney.

That is $248 spent on goods purchased via mail order or donations made to charities. This is closely followed by Launceston in Tasmania with an average spend of $242.71 and Cairns, North Queensland with an average spend of $224.90.
